Honda’s First Diesel car in India, to be launched on April 11, bookings now open
This is the company’s first compact saloon and first diesel car rolled into one and it has enormous potential here. The Japanese carmaker has a lot riding on the Amaze and it could very well catapult Honda to the pinnacle of the entry-level saloon segment.
Honda has announced that it would launch its entry level sedan, Amaze, in India on April 11. Honda has opened bookings for Amaze, which would be carmaker’s first diesel car in India.
Honda Amaze would be available in both petrol and diesel versions.
The diesel version of Amaze would be powered by Honda’s new i-DTEC engine, which promises a mileage of 25.8 kilometre per litre. The 1.5-litre engine would deliver a power of 100 PS, says the automaker.
