Wayanad by Rail:
Kozhikode railway station is a nearest railway station, which is nearly 110 km from Wayanad. Taxi services are available from railway station to Wayanad. Wayanad has a salubrious climate all through the year. The best time to visit the place is from October to May.

Tourist Attraction in Wayanad
Banasura dam is the largest earth dam in India, It is an ideal picnic spot to laze around and relax. Beautiful lush green hills surround a vast body of crystal clear water, thus enclosing it from most of the sides.
Lakkidi is known as the ‘gateway to Wayanad’, Lakkidi is located on top of Thamaraserri Ghat pass. Lofty mountains, gushing streams and lush forests add mysticism to the entire trip up the meandering roads.
